Okay. That has got to be the most, MOST disappointing French Open final in the history of man kind, ever.
Normally I would try to defend a displeasing event by claiming that it was my fault; that it was my extremely unrealistically high expectations that brought on the disappointment.
But not today.
Damn, was that a wipe out of massive proportions or what?
I’m a Nadal fan all the way, but I would seriously trade that up just to watch one hell of a fight. Just to have seen half the match (literally) they had three years ago, it’d be oh-so-worth it to give Federer the damned French Open cup.
And to think that I had been waiting for this event for one whole year. Not to mention talking about the finals non-stop to my friends, who probably have grown tired of my Nadal-Federer rivalry rants that they’re this close to shoving my fist down my throat. (Peace people :D)
Anyways. The good thing that possibly deterred the possibly of a five-hour epic match was the fact that we’ve gotten our dsl internet installed this afternoon.
At least I’ll have the comforts of youtube to help me get through yet another year of waiting.
