February maybe the shortest month on the calendar but now that I sit back and think about it, it still had been a busy month. I know I was supposed to post this list yesterday, but I’m sick and I needed to rest.
In the spirit of continuing the month-end reports, I present to you February’s rundown:
1. I have done many things by my lonesome. Probably not that big of a deal for anybody else out there, but I’ve existed all my life with a pal right beside me when doing whatever it is that I’m supposed to be doing. Believe me when I say that this is a huge step for me.
2. In that line of independent thought, I have now gone to the movies alone and unaccompanied. It’s really easier that way, I’ve found, since I’m the only one left in our group who has nothing better to do than stay in the dark theaters all day.
3. I think I’ve just seen more movies in the cinemas this month alone than the whole of last year.
4. It’s been a trying month; I’ve had my ups and my downs and once again the truest of my true friends have shown their grit when said grit was needed. I’m not over it yet, but I am on the way, thanks.
5. I’m about to finish Charles Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’. I know I should’ve finished this ages ago, but it turns out that it’s a much longer read than I expected.
6. I got to see The Comedy Cartel’s show with friends and even got to spend a night back in Manila.
7. I got to visit Tanay, Rizal again, after oh-so-many years. Now I can’t wait to go back.
8. I’ve finished my Intravenous Therapy training and now have my very own certificate. Hopefully twenty-eight days from now I can say that I am done with the completion cases and am just awaiting my Intravenous Therapy license. Hopefully 🙂
9. I have taken the religious stuff more seriously now. I don’t know if this is an effect of being a bum or what but I’m praying more and reflecting more.
10. I have, finally, submitted my NMAT (National Medical Admission Test) application and am now preparing for the exam on April 5th. I don’t know how that will go but it’s one way of keeping my options open, I suppose.
As it turns out it had been a very confusing February and I’m hoping for a clearer March. Cheers.
