2013 started out rough. There’s no other way to describe it. My life at the time revolved all around work and it was a miserable way to live. Thank God good things happened when I moved into the reports team – I learned a lot and I got to meet a bunch of fantastic people.

It was relatively smooth sailing all until September when I received an offer that, at the time, I couldn’t refuse. I’m still debating if that was a good move on my part or if it’ll be the ‘big, horrendously stupid move’ of my twenties (everybody has one). So far I can’t say that I regret taking the offer; I’m exposed to a whole new enviroment and things are just lighter nowadays.

So now we’re a almost a full month into 2014. For the first time in perhaps forever, I’ve entered anew year without any plans at all. I’m sort of scared that I don’t have a solid game plan for this year and it does make me a bit antsy to have so many unknown variables in my life but right now I can’t find the strength to stress myself out over it.

Cheers to 2013 and welcome, 2014. I shall savor everything that you have to offer.
