April’s come and gone, it was a bit busy but it was one of the more memorable Aprils of my life.
- Major Trip: Cagbalete!!! We got to go to the beach waaay before everybody else did. Read our adventures here.
- Movie Count: five (5)
- Play Count: one (1) – Repertory Philippines’ Noises Off
- The office folks and I travelled all the way from Taguig to BF Holmes in Paranaque to catch Yield Avenue perform for Beatles’ night. They’re seriously quickly becoming one of my favorite bands.
- ICU Kely’s birthday!!! It’s been ages since I’ve last hung out with these people (when we ate our way through McKinley Hill).
- I got to spend my first ever Holy Week at home. No work. No holiday pay either, but hey.
- Mama and I got to participate in our Parish’s Easter Vigil. Truth be told it was the first time I’ve even heard of that particular celebration but it was a nice experience. I hope I can do it again next year.
- I got to hang out with a couple of folks, watching random movies. No pictures, unfortunately.
- By some sort of dumb luck, me and my office mates got to attend the Philippines’ celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s Birthday.
- Went on an overnight swimming adventure with the cousins!
- Got to renew my licenses, which wasn’t particularly fun but I still relish the moments where I get to commute around the city.
- Books read: one (1) – Tina Fey’s Bossy Pants
April was a busy month but it was fun. I was waiting for a few things to happen in April, but not all of them materialized so I guess here’s hoping for good news in May 😀
