So I got tagged by two different people just today, posting it here just because –
1. The Witch In Room Six – Edith Battles
2. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone – J.K. Rowling
3. A Horse And His Boy – C. S. Lewis
4. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader – C. S. Lewis
5. Pride and Prejudice – Jane Austen
6. Mansfield Park – Jane Austen
7. Dracula – Bram Stoker
8. The Picture of Dorian Gray – Oscar Wilde
9. A Storm of Swords – G. R .R. Martin
10. The Return of the King – J. R. R. Tolkien
Wow. Everyone has a different Harry Potter pick. I’m curious why’d you choose Sorcerer’s Stone?
Mainly because it was the first haha. I remember this book keeping me awake during my commute home when i was thirteen haha
I just noticed that I never called the 1st book “Sorcerer’s Stone” until you did. It’s been “Philosopher’s Stone” to me. UK vs US version.
I never got the hang of the philosopher’s stone name. I think i was well into the fourh one when i learned about the uk/us thing haha. Naexcite masyado, di ko na naresearch. What was your hp book btw?
Prisoner of Azkaban. I cried reading that thing. Haha. I mean Sirius Black! Then he had to go into hiding.
But thinking about it, Half Blood Prince made me cry more. Too many deaths.
What year did you start reading HP? Because you mentioned being 13. I think I was 10 when I read the 1st book? Malaki ba tanda ko sayo?
Haha i remember tearing up a bit when lupin turned. almost ruined my childhood. i remember being in a gloomy mood for like a week after reading a goblet of fire but i never cried on any of the books. Hmm. I read it when i was a freshman in highschool, a resident weirdo lent me a book. mas matanda ata ako sa’yo tsonf, i’m 27 😀
Nah. Same age. Guess I got to my resident weirdo phase a lot earlier.
I’m re-reading the series now!
Naku, i prolly won’t re-read that until i’m 35 at least. good na ko with the last re-read a couple of yeara ago haha
Haha. But it’s waaay better than re-reading LOTR.
I re-read that when i was a bum (late 2008 to early 2009). blew my mind. my 15 year-old mind definitely wasn’t prepared for tolkien haha
hey speaking of books. Have you seen my “Reading 50 Shades” blog? I ask because the reason I started the thing is because you mentioned you never read it.
I saww!! I have read the first entry, but i haven’t checkes out my blog feed in a week 🙁 tis saad.
Stop working! hahahaha! Or blog at work like I do. Haha
I got to do that back when i was in a different department (hence the sudden burst of blogging late last year) but the department i’m in right now is super toxic right now. People just want to get out of there as soon as possible, tsk.
I’m afraid my time for blogging while working is nearing it’s end. Well, it’s fun while it last.
If you have the time, read the blog. haha. The book is the absolute worst. So bad it makes Twilight tolerable.
Haha thank god for wordpress mobile, amiright? I shall i shall! i’ll follow din :)) And. Meh. Kadiri talaga eh, twilight fanfiction. Ick. Ick. Ick.
Oh man. Its far worse than Twilight will ever be. I love it. Haha. I don’t remember disliking Twilight this much. In fact I may have liked Twilight (emphasis on the may). The Host is the atrocious Stephanie Meyer creation.
Wala na. Natrauma na ko kay smeyer. I was intrigued by the host but tis too expensive to buy and i’m not really an ebook type of person. I think i’ll stick to cassie claire for now, thanks thanks
I hated The Host so much I didn’t even finish it! And I have a strict “finish every book I started” policy.
Cassie Clare? Is she any good? Havent seen the movie version. I dont really like YA dystopian series. But Im planning to do a blog series on the Divergent books after the 50 Shades.
Yeah. Ebooks can ruin your eyes man. I needed to change my prescription glasses twice this year alone.
I haven’t seen the movie either but i sort of have history with the author kasi. she was a fanfic writer din, but of harry potter and she wrote this massive story before. It really was huge and spanned six years, and i followed it til the end. Then she got picked up and wrote a new ya novel of her own, which was fantastic. the world is vert obviously hp but i liked the first three books she sent out
