I ended 2015 pretty strongly – I managed to finish all of my Christmas shopping despite the delays the Australia trip caused me and managed to squeeze in meet ups with all of my different circle of friends.

Plus, during the holiday break, I was busy booking flights for trips this year. As is my M.O., I took the first few days of the year off from work and was busy drafting a schedule – of finances, budgets and what have you’s – that I’m to follow for the next three hundred and sixty-five days. According to this list, my Christmas shopping made a somewhat significant dent in my savings and I have to basically live in poverty for the next few weeks to make up for the holiday splurge.

But hey, everything’s doable, right?

All in all I’m quite optimistic for 2016. How about you?
